Portrait of female Praying Mantis in the "Wild", by which I mean it's outside & subject to the elements & so am I. No controlled elements here. Wind, sun & most of all - - subject to the whims of a Praying Mantis female about 3,5 inches (9-10cm) long. And she's got her own agenda..... ;-) Pay close attention to her eyes. The little black dot in the eye is what she's looking at me with. That little "eye" would move checking what I was doing & though her face is looking in the other direction, her eye would be fixed on me. I was being most closely observed........
