The largest pelican in the US is the American White Pelican. They're BIG. The length of this bird is 62" or 157,5cm. Their wingspan is 108" or just over 274cm - that's 2 meters & 74cm. Their weight is 16.4 lb or 7,500g - or better put... 7,5 kgs

Talk about big bird. And compare this to the California Condor which is only 46" long & has a wingspan of 109" (that's only one inch wider than the White Pelican), but they do have the weight on their side. A California Condor weighs 23 lb or 10,5 kg
