I liked, First Day Out with Sigmonster Zoom. It appears you did well with the zoom lens and the Mallard #13 was great. It is nice when nature cooperates with you. I take quite a few pictures in the Florida Everglades and have posted them on Webshots. I think you would have a great time there. Keep up the good work.
