This it Mrs Killdeer. Mrs Killdeer ended up being the center of a controversy at Bolsa Chica when a photographer managed to chase her off her nest with two of her eggs still unhatched. So only two of her four eggs hatched as she ended up deserting her nest & two unhatched eggs in hope to save her two hatched chicks. it was most disturbing to all of us.

Here she's off to look for her mate & get some food, taking a quick break from incubating her four eggs.
