Sigmonster tests shots in horrid light ISO 800 at 400mm f/5.6 100% crop
OK, for post processing (pp'ing) I've done this....
1. shot RAW so pp'ed in NX...
2. adjusted sharpness to setting 7
3. set to Picture Control to STANDARD
4. WB set to Daylight
5. since I shoot Adobe RGB, it's been converted to sRGB
6. zoomed in 100% & cropped
