This was an amazing experience - My very first Bald Eagle. Judging by my Sibley's Guide this is a Juvenile (1st year). I was shaking from head to toe while taking these shots. I have no memory of ever shaking while taking shots - but this experience left me shaking it was so amazing to me. I consider myself lucky the bird is in the frame the way I was shaking....

To see this bird come at me was amazing - - it is huge. They're 31" long (just about 79cm) - their wingspan is 80" (203cm or just over 2 meters) & weigh in at 9.5 lb (4,325g)
