I can see how the stripes would confuse lions on the prowl in Africa. Luckily these are safely a good distance from the lions at the zoo....

An interesting fact about the stripes is this. It's just as distinctive as Human finger prints. And the stripes are thought to be most confusing to a predator. They come from Ethiopia & northern Kenya
