Breeding Mature Brown Pelican - - is it Ballet or is it a mating "invitation"? Don't ask me - - I don't know that much about pelicans. Make sure you don't miss the action of the second pelican - - the one on the right side of the frame..... So the "sidekick" is the reason for the crop, could not stand to leave the juvenile out....

This is shot with the D300 & the grip in "high speed". But since I shot it in 14-bit - - I only got about 2,5 fps. If I'd been shooting in High Speed 12-bit I would have gotten 8fps. That would have been far too many files to deal with. ;-)
