For those who know my work & my site, they know I have an ongoing relationship with a few squirrels that live on the other side of the fence to my neighbor. Main characters are "Little On", "Red", "Big Momma" & a new young male. But subject of interest of late has been "Little One" going through her first pregnancy & her first set of babies.

We've made a huge step forward in our communication & interaction. "Little One" & "Red" know their names for sure & the word "Peanut" is a general "Come & Get It" food call. "Little One" now also takes peanuts out of my hand & comes running when I call her & offer peanuts. She takes ever so gently out of my hands & I've felt her little paws on my fingers when she at times chooses to stretch & take the peanuts from my fingers with her paws instead of with her mouth.

Anyhow, "Little One" has been bringing her babies for a while now, but we found them about a week ago. I'd say she's been bringing them early in the morning & I've just missed it as I don't like being an early riser. So, "Little One" has two babies & I'm fairly sure they're a male & a female. Here are some of my shots so far taken of the little guys. They're a lot smaller than mom & dad. But they're not tiny babies by any means.....
