This poor immature Cormorant ended up in trouble, injured itself - - but flew off just fine. I hope it will be OK & be a tad more careful in choosing its landings better in the future....

This is my first time out in the field with this 13+ lbs lens, Full Wimberley Gimbal & my Feisol CT-3371 tripod. Yes, I did hike with it all put together. If I keep doing that I'll be very strong in no time & probably lose a bit of weight while at it. ;-)
