Some California Redwood Facts....

Height: To nearly 370ft. or 112.78 meters tall
Age: To 2,000 years
Bark: To 12 in. thick or 30.5 cm
Base: To 22 ft. diameter or 6.71 meter in diameter

Now the Giant Sequoias grow to a height of only 311 ft., but live up to 3,200 years. Their bark can grow to 31 in. thick and have a base of 40 ft. in diameter. Also - the Giant Sequoias are inland trees while the California Redwoods are coastal growing.
