Common Raven IV or Corvus corax or is it a Crow

OK, I have asked a lot of people what these are. Everyone except forone online friend says these are Ravens. Then there's Larry. Larry'sbeen birding for I believe 50 years. He stands by the fact that they'rea pair of Crows. I'm still in the process of trying to get a finalanswer, but I know that they're at least 20" long. I also know thatwe're for years had birds making this sound http://ibc.hbw.com/ibc/phtml/votacio.phtml?idVideo=16083&Corvus_corax in our neighborhood. According to that site the sounds are those of a Raven. This is a common scene with this couple http://ibc.hbw.com/ibc/phtml/votacio.phtml?idVideo=19209&Corvus_corax

Soat this point I still don't know. Larry's very sure of his case. Untilfurther notice I'll continue to get a firm measurement of these birds& leave it up to you to decide what you think they are.... Ravensor Crows - - for now, I'm done....

I write probably because I'mnot sure.... This is one of two which are obviously a mated pair. Theyhang out together - - they're rather large (20" +) & seem to thinkour property is a pretty neat place to hang out.
