Male Black-headed Grosbeak III or Pheucticus melanocephalus

I'm working on this years set of the Black-headed Grosbeaks. They're here for a short while so it becomes an intense time. They're so skittish........ Last year I worked in MF with a remote release. Very hit & miss. This year I'm trying to work through the makeshift blind I have. But getting them to show up at the right time of the day, in the right spot etc etc is a real pain. I'm trying to get them away from the feeder & that's not easy & get light. This is where I get the best light for a short while during the day...... Bad part is, I don't like shooting them by the feeder.....
