These little birds freak out every time I open my kitchen door. One would think I'm a hawk or something..... Anyhow, I finally broke down & put up a "blind" in my kitchen door & stocked the bird feeder & hopped. Well, today I had luck.
Some of these guys are more pale, others are like this guy - very colorful on the head & chest. Some have little - - but colorful - - others have a lot. This guy is pretty well colored.
