This is a female. According to Sibley's Guide, it's a Drab adult female. Not a very kind thing to call her - - just look at how pretty she is.. Maybe it's just Winter plumage.... now that I've found her I will have to go back during the Summer to see what the plumage looks like before I agree with Sibley's.

I did not get around to re-framing this shot in camera. I knew I had to get every shot I could as she would take off any second. I've therefore chosen to do a square crop of this shot. Other option would be to add canvas on the left & clone. Which is doable....
