I'm going to defer to my friend Larry who identifies this hawk as a RTH (Red-tailed Hawk). I was following two hawks, which in the dark light looked at first as one & the same, but I believe they were in such close proximity that I may well have gotten them mixed up. Larry knows far better & I will defer to him on this issue.
